I guess mine is obvious, but it's even more true today since our third grandchild was born at 2:30am last night! Woot! Woot! Three future hangers to join Grampa!

Retired from corporate America nearly 10 years ago to be the At-Home-Dad for my children. We have hosted many foster children and I've now been the "Dad" to 16 kids.

Now the kids are in school and I work as a Nocturnal Paramedic to allow my days free to help at school and lead Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4H.

While At Home Dad is now a bit of a misnomer, it is still the goal that I strive for . . . to be the rock that my kids can always rely upon!

Alejandro was the name my classmates convinced my high school Spanish teacher to give me for use in class. 10 was the number I wore playing high school soccer. I've been using it as a screen name for about 13 or 14 years now.

    Gracia y paz,

    Aaron

P.S. The Spanish name thing is funny because my given name has two differences in Spanish 1. an accent over the O and 2. pronunciation. However, there is one cultural point of interest, in countries with Roman Catholic heritage most people assume I am Jewish because of my name and are surprised to find out otherwise.

Congratulations Mike! My wife and I are expecting our first child around the 28th, so excitement about that sort of thing is well understood in our home.

My screen or nickname here, should be self explanatory for those in the US or knowledgeable of the US.For those that don't know.I live in South Carolina(SC) and I used to hike a lot in my younger days, hence the walker part. I'm not very creative.
