Neophyt1983 is a combination of things. Neophyt is something that I came up with years ago while I was board at work and then found out that it is a real word, "neophyte", that means beginner. 1983 is my birth year.

stustumble. This is a nick name I got when I was in the Navy. My friends use to call me stewart after the character that always wore a Winger shirt from Beavis and Butthead as I had a Winger shirt that I would wear once and a while and they always use to say that I stumbled home from the bar. Hence, Stu Stumble.

Das Toe. Actually not grammatically correct German. A few years ago I suffered some pretty bad bouts of gout. Very painful in the joint of the big toe. As a committed hanger and passionate backpacker, the toe just was something you dealt with to stay on the trail. Watching the example set by my hero Shuggety Shug Shug Shug as he was bashing and bleeding off trail in the Linville Gorge just gets in the way of complaining about a little thing like my gout. So my hikin' buddies thought "The Toe" as a trail handle didn't cut it. Someone had watched the movie Das Boot and mashed that together with Toe to come up with Das Toe. Go figure.

I have lived on the East coast all my life dreaming of living in the Rockies. Well, that wish came true last year. My wife sent out her resume all around the country for a job placement as a Professor. The only feedback that she received was from Colorado Mesa University. At the time we were getting married..The week of our wedding day she flew out for an interview and she was hired on the spot. We were so excited!!!
Not to cut short the info. But my forever dream came true. Married my now wife and ended up in the Rockies in Colorado.
    What more can be said.....

My brother saw a cop car in Cincinnati with this (DGNR8) as license plate number. He thought it was pretty funny. I kind of latched on to it. It always reminds me of him.

Before the telephone was common place, telegraph pull boxes were on every corner to summon the fire department. When the box was pulled it sent a signal to the dispatcher who would turn out the closest station. If there was a fire the box was opened and a fireman would transmit the code for a working fire and a "box alarm" was sounded brining more trucks. I'm a fireman and it's my screen name for everything else so I can remember it
