My buddy has some land that adjoins the Upper Buffalo River Wilderness Area. He called me a couple of days ago, sez "Come on over...we're gonna build a deck."
"Okay, where, how big, etc?"
"On the slope by the creek. Big enough to put my tent on"

Oh man, I'd love to have some land on the edge of that area. Livin' the dream, that guy is.
I hung my hammock on a steep, rocky slope...it did not go unnoticed.
There were lots of questions, and a tentative, "I may have to try one." I didn't offer up my Speer, because that is a difficult intro to hammocks. Next time, I'll take something that's easy to love. Baby steps.
