I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Brian, I am certainly proud to say that I have owned a few of your tarps. They were one of the best pieces of gear I've ever used. Thank you for your contribution to the world of hammock camping - from one craft to another. Mike
While I wish you the best as you begin your new job, I also look forward to your "return" to the world of outdoor gear making. You have more yet to accomplish in that arena, even as you begin your traditional engineering career path!
Good luck and many happy returns!

All the best to you Brian with your Engineering position.
Your MacCat tarps are my favorite choice to keep me covered from the weather. Fantastic craftsmanship.
Now you have me wondering if I should pickup another. Might be awhile before we see your products again soon.
Good luck to you in all you pursue.
Had to buy another MacCat Deluxe when I heard about this, I'm glad you got a job that you will be prosperous at and enjoy. Just make sure you make some time to get outdoors, and of course, continue to post here. Good luck Brian!
Brian good luck to you have used a Deluxe for several years as my go to tarp
stopped by your house a few years ago on the way to hike the 100 mile wilderness with a friend who had ordered a Deluxe missed you but met you mom who was super nice hope the deer have not bothered her garden again -good luck and hope you get back in business soon after you make the adjustment
Congrats to you Brian, you have earned it! Thanks for all the tarps, yours are the only ones I have ever owned and they have been exactly as advertised. I remember one fierce storm on the AT when I sent up a big Thank You to you and your engineering skills We enjoyed talking to you at Trail Days and hope to see you again on the trail. Best of luck to you in Boston, it is a fun town.
Ordered one of these tarps the day this thread started and haven't received anything but a receipt so far.

Hasn't answered email or message posted through his site.
Sent PM that I'm pretty sure he received. Nothing.
What do we need to do Brian, to work this out. All I am asking for is for a delivery date or at least some correspondence. How about my money back, if nothing else....
I emailed Brian with some questions on Monday, heard back Tuesday, ordered my tarp Tuesday night and had a receipt that night.
I'm sure Brian is swamped first by the new job he announced, and second by the fact that I'm sure an announcement like this results in A LOT of extra orders. Brian has been a stand up guy in my dealings with him. He's not gonna rip you off, I can guarantee that.
