Any idea on how much the bug netting weighs per yard? Also, has anyone found some downproof fabric there?

Hey guys, just a word to the wise, last month I bought 2 types of ripstop at pheonix--I thought they were both silnylon. Last night I was working on a tarp, and much to my surprise, after testing with water, the material i bought wasnt completely water proof! It would hold water for about 5 min, and then would start leaking. I'm guessing its dwr coated? Anyway, its not a big deal for me, because i also bought some material that is silnylon and completely water proof so I can finish my tarp project and I have other uses for the leaking fabric. It took my by surprise, because I thought I could tell the difference between sil and dwr, but evidently not! (how can you tell as you are standing there at the fabric store?) (while at the store, I poured a teaspoon of water on the cloth and it beaded up) --anyway, something to think about! The fabric I bought was a really good deal, and seems to be good quality, but as you know if youve been there, its not marked , so you have to know what you are looking at! (totally my mistake, not theirs!)

FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
