I held out on the Uber Shipment option, but they did send it second day for me. Thinking about getting up early and intercepting the FedEx guy as they leave the center nearest my house.CRAP!!! Hope you didn't order it via his "UBER SHIPMENT" express delivery option!

Seriously, does anyone know if I call FedEx and ask real nice, if they will hold it for pick up for me?

Yes, Fedex will hold packages at delivery substations as long as there is an attendent.

They do have the option to hold it ... but the last time I had them do it ... it ended up costing me an extra day to get it. Long story and a typical SNAFU at Fedex ... but I'd give it a shot. Especially if it's not arrived at your local hub yet.
