Was curious what you thought. Dawned on me as I was looking at these pics.

oh ya it kept me warm. Course it only got down to 22f one night. I'll push it sometime and report back :^)

I really like the wider cut, especially for a winter UQ. It affords some movement or being off to one side some. I dont want to fiddle with a narrow UQ in the middle of the night.

Your quilt looks great, almost as puffy as mine!!

I do quite a bit of flipping and flopping around in my hammock until I fall asleep. I like to get into the perfect, feels fantastic position and then I'm asleep. Literally, I fall asleep the second I get into the right postion. The wide cut of my UQ means I can roll around and not come off the quilt. Plus I also tend to raise my arms or go out to the sides with them. And they're still warm because the UQ is under them.
Something else I'm trying is attaching my Underqround quilt so that it's more like a parrallelgram under me. I've got it adjusted so that it matches the offset that I lay in when I'm in my BlackBird.
With the triangle thingys, I found that I could not unattach from the quilt using the mitten hooks when the temps were below freezing. My fingers were just to cold. So I'm using the #1 size S biners (niteize). They are working out great for me. I wish they were made in red. I'm using silver on one end and black one's on the other end. This way I can easily tell the head end of the quilt from the foot end when I go to hang it on my hammock (I keep the triangle thingys attached to my UQ when I pack it with the S-biners).

Nice pictures of your quilt!! Do get that triangle thingy a bit closer to your hammock though.

Wonderful UQ! I have a 21oz TQ from Paul that I call "the beast". When it lofts, it fills up the hammock. Never been cold yet and I'm a cold sleeper. Love Paul's products! (but he already knows that). Happy hanging

    Talking

I am real happy with my UQ that paul made me. Went out this past weekend in temps around 15 and slept like a baby. My UQ is puffy and warm the triangles make set up so easy i love it. I will be ordering your summer top and bottom quilt's. Thank's again for a great product.

I love my 0* TQ, I have 20 oz. of the 850fp and am sure I could go well below zero, after seeing all of these people with quilts with 21oz, I'd say we should start a 20 and over club lol. Still wanna get one of those zepplins, gotta get some more $$ first

    Great product and servis, thanks

    Now that's funny

I was out this past weekend camping, I was snug and toasty! Woke up Sunday morning to rain and would have stayed in my hammock but it was my job to fix coffee for the adults that morning.
