Marines are great, just ask the Sailor's wives.

    Termite,

You got it all wrong ...

("Marines are great, just ask the Sailor's wives")

It's the Sailors who are lovers ... ask any hooker.
The Marines are the trouble makers, fighters.

With the Navy Seals, the Marines are lucky we find a small slot for'em in our organization.

OH, maybe you don't know the Marines are just a small part of the Navy?
Of course being an Infantry man ... what can I say?

That being said, just for clarity's sake could we get the first page updated with the "flexible" schedule, i.e. what site for each day maybe with "backups" like last year where due to the weather everyone kind of hunkered down in the holler. Also maybe links to the maps that show the new coordinates for the alternate holler camp.

I know some stuff is only a couple of pages back, but some of the pertinent information is dug in randomly throughout the thread. Given that we are getting real close to the date some folks may trickle in who have not been following the entire thread.

Edit: One, I guess I just reiterated Jboneonhf's request, that'll show me for hitting reply a page back. And two, while I will always be a blue blooded Army Infantryman, Marines are great, just ask the Sailor's wives.
I will put something together perhaps later on today.

This looks great. I've been planning to go for a while, but hadn't posted anything. I added my name to the Google Doc. I know I'm coming along with my sister, her boyfriend (who has gone before, I don't now his username) and jboneonhf.

Anybody have a KMZ file (Google Earth file) for this hike? I've got the way points, but not the path.

I would like a kmz file as well. Okay so I will be there Wednesday at noon. I will hang out for about 20 minutes before starting out. I am going to try to make it to the first camp. I bought a GPS and have my route loaded up so I should be good to go.
