This might work. Non paddlers could always share some canoe space if someone's bringing one (unless they don't like being on the water which I understand b/c of my wife). If so there's always options

the section pin pointed on his GPS coordinates is about an hours paddle east from the panther creek put in.
i've always felt a bit uneasy about parking there overnight, but have never had, or heard of, any issues with cars being messed with there.
i know the gate is closed after dark.

april will be good for me, as i'll have a bunch of paddling time in by then.
as sometime in may i have a skydiver reunion to attend in texas.

when you paddle out from panther, and out into the main lake, there's a very cool island straight across out in the middle in the lake from there.
it has a massive cliff for jumping,40'+,
it could be a great place to have a rather good size hang.

I know that island, was there 2 Feb's ago just exploring from the kayak...slipped and took a fall-fell 4-5 feet landing on my feet like a cat with no injuries-absolute miracle...not a soul in the world knew where i was and I had no way to communicate with anyone if hurt...back to that island-it would make an awesome place for a group hang.
Whether we hang there or not we could (those of us inclined) still paddle to the hang site near 25E and shuttle paddlers from their vehicles left at Panther and have only one vehicle at the launch...I can bring an old pickup no one would break into or steal if that might help.

Sounds like a neat spot but I don't have a way to get there.

The wife and I went for a lil day hike at this location and there's a logging road to walk in on but everything on the left side of the road was posted so it must be private property, not sure how far back the private property goes though.
