Thanks. I want to go by and check it out.

I am planning on being there for Fri afternoon/night and breakfast with Davy Crockett N them.
That is the plan right now anyway. If any one is short on UQs and such, let me know I can come up with an extra for Fri night. If you have an Explorer size HH, I also have extra Super Shelters if you want to try something like that.
Such a warm winter so far. This could be balmy or severe!

Well, you know, that is a long story. Just search HF for about a billion posts/opinions/threads. Bottom line is works great( for quite a few of us now) for it's weight- and even better considering price and wind/water protection. For ~ 20 oz for the long (Explorer), it has worked great for me easily in low 40s and even low 30s and for a lucky few a good bit lower than that. (plus, it is so easily boosted a LOT simply by adding a fleece jacket or something below the pad) Can a ~ 20 oz full length UQ do better than that? Well, now that many of them are dif cut, maybe, I don't know. My dif cut MW3 (23 oz) will, but it cost a lot more, and down UQs don't usually include weather shields in their price. With a small tarp and high winds/rain/fog, I'll take the HHSS every time over the same weight full length UQ. With a big tarp or a separate UQ protector, then the balance switches back to the down UQ. But then that is even more money and wt, so........
Several years ago, I slept at my very 1st Neo Mid TN Fall hang in the HHSS. I think it was low 40s, and I was plenty warm.
For others, they have not liked it at all. So I don't know what to tell you, you might love it or hate it. If you have nothing and want to try one, or maybe something else, let me know.
Neo, I saw you were thinking about getting a short style UQ. I have 2 short UQs, a WB Climashield and a JRB MW3(convertible). You are welcome to try either if you want, although neither is available any longer so I don't know how much useful info it would give you.
I don't know yet what I will use. Last time I was up there I was going to use my HHSS just because that is what I used on my previous Neo hang. But I ended up using my WB hammock and Yeti style torso UQ with 2 layers total of Climashield. Worked great.
EDIT: I just found out I have to work tjhat Fri over in Batesville MS, so I might be later getting up there.
