    Thanks all, glad to finally get this triplog posted. I do at least two Algonquin trips every year, usually in early spring and again in early fall.

    Interesting to hear that there may have been a bunch of hammock guys up at the same time, my route even took me through Tom Thomson! I passed through that lake on May 4th.

    Tropicalpine, my lakes were:
    McIntosh, Misty, White Trout, & Littledoe
    May 4 - 8

    Bannerstone, yes I made that saw from scratch on site. In fact, only the blade was transported each day and every day the frame was made again from dead wood around the site. All that handy work got burned at the end of each night. We didn't want to carry any extra weight on those long portages.
