Thanks for the heads up - looks like my sawyer is stuck in processing status. I knew it was too good to be true.

Can't find that out until they re-open on Monday. I got billed for my entire order; maybe the rest will ship from other distribution centers; and you'll get your Sawyer. For me, the first-in-years visit to a BSA store was more interesting than any I've made to a national or regional chain sporting goods store during that time. It was valuable to see and handle models from several makers of water filters and compasses, for example.

Alas, most of the valuable clearance items I tried to buy are gone.........and as though the pricing on some was a mistake -- 50% off and then 50% off again -- a few of the items on sale last week are still on sale, but at twice the price they were then.

Don't make the trip to your local BSA shop and have the manager look at you funny for asking for the $180 gravity-feed filter on sale for $40. It isn't, anymore.

That is exactly what happened to me. I thought I had grown a third eye or something.

The online site no longer shows the Clearance Sale and prices of remaining items reverted back to pre-clearance prices. I too had placed an order on the 10th and received an invoice today missing the clearance items. I was able to explain this to a B&M Scout Shop and the manager allowed them to matched the clearance prices since I was able to show them the email from my original order.

I think most B&M Scout Shops don't pay attention to what the National store is doing, but the one I was in today in Fairview, TX seemed more informed. It was the best looking Scout Shop I've seen, and had great service. I also picked up some long-sleeve TrekTek shirts for $15 and was able to use my 25% off.

I called today and they found a shop near me that had the sawyer in stock. Save a few dollars in shipping and tax too. Great service from Scoutstuff!

Be aware the local stores may not be selling them at the same price.

I called back..........again the other day and actually got someone to help me. She not only found the filter for me, she found it at the web price and called them to order it for me. Should get it this week.
