    Cure for withdrawl symptoms

Got some serious withdrawl symptoms. 55 degrees out, can't go ice fishing or ice sailing. Not enough ice, Grrrr! This is just some kinda odd winter we're having! Oh, well, string up the net hammock on the front porch, pop open a ice tea, lay back in the sun and watch the world go by. Slowly adjust the attitude to " All is right with the world" Yeah! One woman walking by said "Looks like you have the right idea." Yup. Beats scooping snow.http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/i...ilies/cool.gif

I know, it is even way mild down here in MS, where it is usually mild compared to up north. But it is still way warmwer than usual this entire winter. Not a single hard freeze so far! We have some low 20s forecast in a couple of days, and that is not impressive, but still the first time much below 30 all winter. Oh well, last couple of years were quite cold and snowy for here, so if the averages are to be maintained...............

I guess the cold is staying bottled up further north:

"Right now, we have crews anticipating 40 feet of snow through Thompson Pass by the end of the weekend, on track to beat the record," Bailey said.
I see a high of minus 17 in Denali for Thur, and minus 29 in Fairbanks, but it just won't come down south of Canada so far!

It's been very mild in NC also. I think we'll probably end up paying for it with a late winter snow. I hope not.

Drive south for a few days! The fishin' has been great when it normally stinks this time of year. And.......you couldn't ask for better hangin' temps!
