Blaze, I'm very new here and this is the second video of your's that I've seen and they're great...Your love of the outdoors and hammocking shines through in a big way...
Sorry to hear of your job loss and the way they told ya....I am expecting the same thing to happen to me in the not to distant future, and I hope that window is wide open for you as well as me when my time comes...Best wishes....
If a woman doesn't find you handsome, she should at least find you handy...Red Green
Jerry,
Blaze,
Take to heart the song you put in your post that told where you got your trail name... let you troubles blaze away. Best of luck in finding the open window... or that there is a door that opens up.
Loved the video as always. I dream that I could visit your area for some hanging.
Peace.
Jay
Enjoyed your video, really sorry to hear of the job situation. Prayers going out that things work out soon for you...The Lord will provide!

no, it is a great video, i just don't like the part when you are fired, but you never know what life has in store for you next. sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad. i'm sure you will find a silver lining.
Will check the vid later mate (always check HF messages first and then the vids later ).
Good luck with the job situation, happened to me too about 4 months ago...it sucks but....
Like Eric Idle (and the others) sang: Always look on the bright side of life....

You sure do manage to find some prime places to set up camp! VERY nice skyline, or whatever it is! Good to see you’ve got your coffee back on the boil, lol Did you put some in your first aid kit? All your videos should have a coffee scene - it’s a BlazeAway trademark. I like seeing the houses you have in your sector, they’re different to here – more interesting.
I was sick during the last video I posted here at Hammock Forums and the people who commented on the video typed get well wishes, which really did make me feel better and get well sooner! I hope you can feel the positive energy coming from the Hammock Forum members posting their best “window opening” wishes! I hope that in one week from today we get another video from you with you in your hammock drinking coffee and saying, Hi guys, I got another job, all is secure again.”
I have enjoyed all of your wonderful videos. I check every day to see if you have posted. You are correct in saying that nothing is secure any longer. Please keep us posted.
Sorry to hear the news mate. Thinking of you.
Blaze, Sorry to hear about the job.
The beautiful morning sky in your video reminds us of the beauty of each new day, possibly full of new opportunities. A sliver of light in a sky of grey.
The only thing in life that we can all count on is it will always be changing.
Our reaction and attitude towards the changes are what make the difference in how we get by. Every change gives us time to reflect, on what is most mportant to us, and set our course again to get there.
You are very correct about new, and possibly better, opportunities being behind a new door. First we have to close the last one to find them.
