    7 pounds, 18 degrees, toasty

Did a quick after-work hike up Cove Mountain and slept toasty at 18 degrees. 7 pound pack, plus the weight of a panini sandwich and water bottle in my pocket, for dinner.
    Osprey Hornet 46 pack
Grand Trunk Nano 7 with whoopee sling suspension, 1 inch straps and marlin spike hitch using trail sticks.
zpacks cuben hammock tarp with doors, pitched tight to the ground and doors closed
Sierra Designs Nitro 15 down mummy bag, pulled like a peapod over the bag.
Cut-down ccf sit pad stuck under my torso in the hammock (very comfortable to me for some odd reason)
    Black Rock Down hat
Black Rock down mittens and waterproof breathable cuben overmitts
    Flamethrower down booties
    Kindle
    Columbia down jacket
    Montbell ultralight down inner

    Life is good

Excellent! Life is good when you load is light and you sleep nice and toasty.

Nothing quite like being nested in down.
    And 7 pounds, 18 degrees.
    Good one.

Turkey. Turkey has less water content than the ham panini that the restaurant also sells, and therefore weighs less, so I went with the turkey.

(just joking -- although now that I think of it, I should have had a jerkey panini to cut even more grams!!)
