Hello from MN

I've been backpacking for many years, casually hanging for a few years (I started with an HH to escape my viciously snoring tentmates), and I am interested in adapting my hammocking habits to a lighter and more frequently used setup.

I did most of my hiking in the southeast as I lived in South Carolina for the past few years, so I am deprived up in these cornfields and I need to get some winter gear going!

I've been reading through the threads for a few weeks. I love the ideas! I am interested in making my own gear...light light light.
