Thanks for posting this!
I used to have a pair of polarfleece booties I would wear with my drysuit when scuba diving. After I sold off my gear, I once in a while pine for the polarfleece on some campouts when the temps dipped.
Now I'm pretty excited about making a pair... I LOVE this site! Thanks again.
I still have my Fourth Element fleece drysuit booties, but they're too heavy for me to take hiking.
JohnSawyer, I'm looking at making some that look like this. Thoughts?
Fire, the design looks simple enough to replicate. My biggest problem when I made a pair for a friend was size. I made the pattern huge and once I stitched it they where more of my 4 year old son's size then adult size.

John,
Could you please explain again, or post a picture, of what the bottom / sole material is made from please?
If I read correctly, you have a piece of,fleece attached to a piece of CCF pad. What is on the bottom?
Would these be something you would wear in your hammock for warmth, or to pad around in at camp, rather than boots?
Thanks,,, looks great!!
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.
When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.
