Sizing. You said you added an inch to the pattern and your second and third would be a bit bigger. I am a 9 1/2 so adding an inch should be enough to add for my foot. Plus, your size is a good reference point for anyone else looking to make these their size. Thanks for the great next project idea.

I want to get a pair for backpacking just to scoot around camp. Maybe I'll make them too.

I'm off to bed... but I just finished them! I had one oops... I managed to flip them right side out to check fit, then sewed the sole on... sigh... but it turned out good. I will take some pics tomorrow....

Hey dude, did you ever take some pics of those down slippers? I have an extra oz of down here and I'm thinking about making some down socks for cold night sleeping.

Here's the pics! These turned out better than I had hoped. Tons of loft, and the PVC coated bottoms and CCF pads are comfortable to walk on...

Very cool. I like how they form around the ankle. And a mistake turned into a plus. Great job.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

They fit great. The only thing I would do different is to switch to 1.1 inside, allowing the down to loft better. Also, I sewed through the top of the foot, so there's a line that could be a cold spot. For V2, I'll sew those layers separately, then I'll have no seam against my foot.

The sole is a piece of CCF with some fleece spray-glued to it for comfort. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Only, I have 3. The first being too small so I never made a mate... Anybody have 1 cold foot?
