A fine, secure-feeling hammock. Others are lighter or more compact, but the CJH has so many built-in features that it is in a class by itself. I sleep soumdly in mine always.

I agree Jim... Just finished making my first set of whoopie slings... Boy my fingers are sore ;-)
It's hard to have a bad day in a good hammock. - Jeremy Flatt
Congrats!
You are now a proud owner of both comfort and quality! Welcome to the NX-250 club! Happy Hangin'!
Yesterday's tomorrow is tomorrow's yesterday. It's the only day that counts.
I am typing this message from within my Clark NX-250 and I am attaching a picture to prove it! It is very nice and as you guys have said extremely stable. I may just start working out here! ;O)

You know, it's strange. I have many different hammocks, having been in search of the "best" for me. I have now found "the best" for me, in two different hammocks. One was a custom job made for me by Papa Smurf. The other one is my NX-250. I was able to purchase mine thanks to LooseNut here on the forums. In the beginning, I had several concerns. The first was shoulder squeeze, the second being knee hyper-extension. These are problems I experienced in most of the hammocks I tried. For some odd reason, I didn't have either in the NX-250, despite hearing from many folks that they did. The other thing about this hammock, for me anyway, was a very secure feeling of being "enclosed" in a "tent-like" atmosphere. I imagine that would cause some folks, who are inclined to be nervous in tight, enclosed, spaces, to be a little uncomfortable. For me however, it was perfect, not to mention very warm in colder conditions. There are just so many things I like about this hammock, it is hard to put into words, but man, as Shug says about some things, it's a "goodie"!! Have fun with your hammock man!!

Thanks for the post 2new2hang!
The only problem that I have found so far (And it isn't really a big problem) is the fiberglass poles. Ideally I would like it if they could be packed into the bag to keep everything all in one pack. Bungle cords would be nice to but I guess they were trying to save on weight which is a plus... Has anyone found an alternative to these poles?
Here is a link to a post I made regarding how I decided to handle the problem. I still use the idea today and it works very well for me.

By the way, in the winter when I leave the Z-Liner in my hammock, the stuff sack provided with it is big enough that the poles will fit totally into it. I still use the little pole stuff sack though, as it is a tremendous help in keeping track of my poles and preventing my old, lame brain from forgetting them. Happy hangin'
In fact, let me direct you to the entire thread started by Bradley, who came up with a great idea as well. There are a couple more ideas there as well. My post above is actually within that thread.

Love your enemies, but keep your gun oiled!
I am a CONCENTRATED vegetarian. I let the cows eat all the grass, and then I eat the cows!
Nice. I am looking to get a NX-200 or NX-250 next.
I am in Montgomery also. Could I meet up with you can see the hammock? Never seen one in person. Wonder how it compares to my old Hennessy and WBBB.

My husband and I are new to this and are in the research stages. I read that a "hang" was this best place to see and try out hammocks. I am 5'10'' about 150 (female) and I think I would like the clark north american. I am very cold natured and it would seem that the north american has everything built in to keep you warm. What advise could you offer me? If the "hang" is close enough, maybe we could check things out. Would love some advise.
