The ones shown in the photo are carved from disposable bamboo chopsticks; I’ve tried everything from pen caps to stir sticks. The challenge has been to find something that will “snug-up” when set so it doesn’t wander up & down the channel. It has to be positioned and guided into the eye of the DW Quilt Hook by feel (outside the channel), the Bamboo satisfies the requirements but it’s not durable so I’m thinking about an Aluminum version? The Channel itself is a folded over (or double) Hem ¾” wide with reinforced ½” openings every 6” which runs the length of the Hammock on both side so you can put quilt hooks and shockcord draws anywhere.

Dude that is some mighty fine handy work and the pictures look really cool. the lighting isn't natural light but it has a very cool mellow feel. I fell relaxed just looking at the pictures of the hammock chair/Hammock.

Ah…good eye! Most of them are timed exposures under ambient light (pot lights) using Aperture Priority, the amber tone had to be dialed back using a cold filter in Photoshop. I tried my studio strobes first but they blasted everything so we lost the detail, I try to avoid Flash when a “Soft Effect” is desired. The photo of the chair embedded in the book was shot using HDR in natural light from a window.

A humble, cap-in-hand thank for the complement! I’m more than happy to influence your potential DIY addiction but, I must warn you it’s a slippery slope to a drop-off lovingly know as…”The Cliffs of Insanity”.

Most of the time, this stuff comes from a method I like to call “Development via Blunder Recovery”, the gear develops itself and I’m just along for the ride. The WR-II is a perfect example, the insulation wasn’t supposed to be removable, I tried to make the new chair so “Ultra-light” that it ended up being a kid sized version, I tried it out but it was “fat guy in a little coat”. Now, I could have broken out the shop-Vac and done some “feather retrieval” to start again but “Blunder Recover” and a well planted seed of thought from Jazilla took the project in a new (and better) direction.

Me too, the new chair is more comfortable then the first one! Getting lots of feedback through the threads and PMs, the "Stand Accessories" list is growing, I'm working on the adjustable foot rest and Laptop table but had to draw the line on the 7.1 surround sound system
