Not too different in size from you. 6'-2"@280. I had calf pressure and
cramping in my DL 1.7 WBBB. Finally put some extra clothes to make
a pillow in the foot box and it solved the problem. My favorite is my custom
3 layer (yes 3 layers) of 1.5oz Night Owl from Wilderness Logics. All these layers work
like an independent suspension system and is the most comfortable
flat lay I have ever experienced. The extra length of the Night Owl even
allows me to lay with almost no angle to the ridge line and still be very flat. No calf
pressure at all. I think I have close to a week in the hammock over the last few months
and really like it. For big guys it's way to go for me.

I am 6'0 260lb and also do not like the lay of the EBO DN. I also have put together a DIY Gathered End Hammock with 1.9 ripstop and have found it to be much more comfortable, still some calf pressure but the lay is flat. The ENO's big problem IMO is length. Its not long enough for us bigger folks.

137"x72 xl roaming gnome is so far the biggest hammock I've found do far. But even at that its still narrower that the ENO. The ENO comes in at 80" wide. Now I thought that the wider the hammock the flatter the lay? So based on that shouldn't the ENO be the flattest lay out there? I'm confused. So what is the largest hammock out there and what are its dimensions ?

    Keep your ENO DN

I'm 6'6 307 and sleep in An ENO DN about 100 nights per year! I did have problems when I started hanging a few years ago. My suggestions-

1- Hang tighter- Adjust your hang so that your hammock is waist high before you get in. Our larger size results in more sag than our pint sized little brothers.
2- Place something under your knees. At home I have a small pillow, while backpacking I use clothes/seat pad/shoes.

    Good luck

I agree! Only spent 2 nights in my DangerBird so far, but it was very comfortable. According to the weight charts, I'm supposed to be 8'4" - I'll get there someday, but right now I am only 6'1".
