2ND Florida Hang

Me and KC and JohnnyWalker had a wonderful time! KC was able to stay warm and cozy on her first night in a hammock despite the super-cold (FLA standards) weather. Renewed old friendships and met a few new old friends. Even got to hike, although I was almost too full to walk! Thanks to everyone who helped, and special thanks to Chuck for being Chuck.

It's always nice to see you and your lovely wife Duffy. I wish I had more time to spend catching up with you both. Next hang perhaps?

I'm glad you like it! The idea struck me when I was hauling my last few things to the car. One of those last few things was my name tag and I wondered what to do with it... then it just seemed to make sense. Photo proof that I actually was there!

I did see that I was in one of the photos from the newspaper article looking at the knife porn so I already had some proof but this one will do for a while

I just wanted to share some of the food, folks, and fun that was being served up at the FH2. If you didn't have a chance to attend, save the date for next year.

Speaking of the knife porn table, can someone tell me what knife this is in the picture that I'm about to pick up?
It's the light brown knife and sheath with the rawhide lashing. The blade is at least 8" long,
but the knife it light as a feather (a heavy feather).
I drew a black arrow pointing at the knife. It may have belonged to MedicineMan.

I just wanted to stop by quickly to say thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I'm in tears as I write this and words can't describe the love I feel from all of you right now. You have no idea how much your posts and PMs have meant to me today. The next few days will be painfully difficult and I'll probably be working the weekend to make up the time I'm taking off. Please know that I love you guys dearly. Also sending my own prayers up to the member whose loved one was in an accident.

To everyone else I really enjoyed putting faces to all the names I have seen hangin' around here.
