Where: Polliwog Pond, at roughly N 44 20.380 W 074 21.030.
When: Friday, February 10th @ noon, until Sunday, February 12 @ noon
What: A winter camping trip in the Adirondack Park in upstate NY

This will be our 5th year doing this trip. It can be very cold and very snowy, so don't underestimate the power of the winter cold in the ADKs.

The coordinates bring you to a car camping basecamp when everyone will stay the first night; some people will snowshoe out to a remote site for the second night.

It's a great time/way to test gear, hang in the cold, explore the ADKs, meet like-minded crazies, visit the ice-castle in nearby Saranac Lake, maybe watch a zombie movie in the cold, lay out on a pond and watch the stars overhead, etc.

If you have questions about this trip and/or would like to come, please reply in this thread.
