    Tarp ridgeline question

Hello all, I have just ordered a Cuban fiber 4 season tarp from HG. while I wait for it I also ordered some zing it to make some guylines and try a single ridgeline. My question is under or over the tarp for the ridgeline with Cuban, are there any positives or negatives to either.

Under could cause the water to run down and drip on you. You can add some drip lines but I would just put the line over. A cuben tarp shouldn't need support from below.

I've heard that cuben doesn't tolerate abrasion well so I run my ridgeline over tarp.

If the ridgeline has a cat cut to it then thats another reason to go over the tarp.

    I prefer Non-continuous.

I know there are some pluses for the continuous (hang stuff on the inside, keeps the nice neat line) but for me, I like a noncontinuous. With Tarp Flyz I have the ability to "position" my tarp, I don't need to carry unneeded weight, there is no issue with possible abrasion, I have corner pockets (HH Hexfly) so there is no loose line to tangle, I use my hammock RL to hang anything I need or just hang heavy stuff off my Whoopies. I know it's simply a matter of preference, but if you hadn't consider NCRL, give it a thought. Though I may change my mind, it's my fave for now.
