Is everyone on their own for reservations or are we doing a group thingy?
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away.

I'll call, and make sure we have enough spaces all together, then everyone can settle up with the campground manager.

Okay, a week and a half out, here's what we've got:

Committed: og, jrs, tbctx, slinky, Sandpiper, Kat, and Alan.
Maybe: Uncle MJM, gospidey, and wnnapddl.

I just spoke with the manager, and he's expecting us.

The river is running 3kcfs, and he says that's good for floating.

I will bring enough venison brats to feed everyone on Saturday night, if y'all will bring some sides.

Finally, I will be down there this Friday night to scope things out, and will be meeting uncertain to deliver his new canoe. If anyone wants to join us, come on.

Got back around noon, the river was running big and green...just beautiful!

I visited with the manager who told me he would block out the south end of the campground so we can spread out and find suitable trees. He asked me what we would need. Gotta love that. Cost will be $10/person/night, with the second night being free. Not bad.

Right now, the river level is being driven by upstream releases at Sardis Lake. Rain is in the forecast tomorrow, so it's anybody's guess what the river will be like next weekend.
