    Patience, patience...

Is just about to kill me! I've been keeping an eye on the shipment tracking info for the new MacCat tarp I ordered recently from Brian at OES. Alas, today I found this :

"Your item was misrouted. The error has been corrected and every effort is being made to deliver it as soon as possible. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."

I hope they get it corrected and on the way soon... I can barely wait any longer. I don't know what I'll do if they lose it...

Looks like they caught the mistake in time, which is great news. Think positive and it'll be there soon.

There should be something like a Lamaze class for waiting on hammock gear to arrive!

This being able to track packages is going to be the death of me. Checking the progress 3 to 4 times a day in anticipation of getting new toys is worse than waiting on Christmas when I was 7. Maybe technology isn't so great after all.

sf, i had this recently, just give them a call (or email) reiterating your proper address... proaction and persistence is the key in dealing w/ bureaucracy. write down when you had your calls, who you spoke to and use the info as your weapon in negotiating through the process.. hope it was insured. good luck!

When did you originally order your package? I'm waiting on mine to come in, but I only ordered it on Sunday. I know it might be a week or two more before it arrives, which is fine. I just need to start making arranges to get my package. I generally leave home at 6AM and won't arrive home until 7 or so. Someone else will have to get here to pick it up, so I need to go ahead and find arrangements.

Patience is a virtue. Unfortunately, I'm not a very virtuous guy! If there's a package coming for me I'm like you and tracking all the time. I got really mad one time when I was expecting the package to come on Friday but UPS didn't deliver it so I had to wait til Monday afternoon. That was a killer especially since I was planning on using that thing I had ordered that weekend.

SF - I did another check today and it appears that it left the Rochester processing facility, so it should be on it's way! I think it must have gotten tossed in the wrong bin, and it took them a complete sorting cycle (a day) to realize their mistake, it just got compounded with the Monday holiday.
