I came close to buying one of those too! Tell me can you get the doors to close completely or does it leave a gap, if so how much?

I just bought one too. I think you'll have to have it rigged really steep to totally close the ends. I think I'll rig it so the corners just barely touch when folded in so there will still be a 5" opening or so from the cat curve. It's a small gap but then a tarp really can't be "air-tight".

The tarp I bought has one pullout on each side so I might try and rig a "half" pole on the outside like some other tarps. It just depends on what I can scrape together and how far the pole bends.

Im with Zuki, if staked out steep you can get the doors close, and if you have tieouts on the sides making it steep really wont be so tight if you pull out on them.

Ill try it tomorrow its to dark right now.

Nice tarp, love Brians work... I have his winter in black.... So much room and yes you need to stake it steep to get doors to close. I stake the four corners, then using a #1 metal s-biner attach door to opposite side stake out d ring with a trucker hitch... Let's you pull those doors in nice and tight... you can seal it up pretty good with some practice...

ive got some shock cord and a cord lock on each door like a warbonnet tie out.
that way i can get in and out without stressing the fabric or can clip them back to open them up. works great
