I have been wondering about the comfort of these, because it seems it might work even better with my PeaPod than does my Claytor No Net, which is already great. They are the same width but I think the GT is shorter. That enables cinching the PeaPod very close to the end knots or maybe even over them. Closer to the ends, better the seal.
We bring them on every trip. Use them as secondary hammock. Set them up in triangle and build a fire in center. Much better than sit pad.

I grabbed two before Christmas for just over $25 total shipped. I honestly intended to give them to my kids but ended up modding one with whoopies and a ridgeline and I've used it all winter long. It's not as comfortable as my other hammock but super light and easy to dial in my UQ.
Amazon messed up my shipping and the first 2 disappeared, but they made it right and overnighted me replacements. They only had the royal blue in stock by then, but I was happy. Several weeks later the first two arrived, I called back and was told to keep them.
I gave one to a buddy I'm trying to get into hammocking and ended up with one for each of the kids and one on my own. Interestingly , if you are a gram weenie the green one was well over an ounce heavier than the blue ones. The one I claimed ended up being 10.55 oz with the whoopies and ARL. So as I think about it, I have more $$$ in the mods than the hammock itself.
I'd suggest it for either lounging or overnighting. I am only 5'9" though.
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.
Grand Trunks website says it has a weight limit of 250 pounds, anyone know what the real breaking point of one is?
I have the single parachute, and I'd like to get an extra hammock.
I went ahead and ordered it. I'll take both next time I go camping and let a friend use the Ultralight.
I love the ultrlites and I'm laying in one now...
Where did you get that tarp from and how much?
I picked it up on here from a forum member.
It is a jungle hammock diamond tarp.

Ok, thanks. I still haven't got a good tarp yet. Still looking.
