    Big boy hammock

Hey all, so I've been looking around and I can't seem to find much out there in way of big boy hammocks. I'm set up in an ENO double and can't seem to get a good lay. Its good... I just know it could get better. In the searches I've done I haven't found anything out there there that has larger dimension than my ENO D. So any help would be awesome. I'm 6'1 and 290lbs if that helps any...... I just can't get as flat as I like

Folks say the Wilderness Logic Night Owl lays pretty flat. It's a little longer than the ENO and rated up to 375#.

I'm about your height and a little heavier ... I started on an ENO DN, and have had a whole host of hammocks, including the Wilderness Logics Night Owl, and it is a REALLY nice flat lay. I however sold that and had PapaSmurf make me a DangerBird, and it's WONDERFUL. I can't say enough good things about it.

You may also look at a Blackbird, lots of people love them, but I didn't find it to my tastes. I've heard great things from the big guys about the Switchback too.

Over the last three years I have used an ENO DN, Clark Jungle Hammock NX-200, WBBB DL 1.7, and a DIY GEH DL 1.9. So far I have found that I get the flattest lay in the DIY GEH. I have been able to adjust it several times to get the lay just right in the hammock. I am 6'1" and 300. Good luck in your search and don't be afraid to try the DIY route.

There has been a lot of discussion about the HH Safari lately.

I just did my first hang in a Trek Light double - and it was pretty decent. I'm 6'1 and 265. Another guy at the campout who was a few inches shorter and a few pounds heavier was using a Clark and he loves it.

Check out my other posts and those by Papa Smurf regarding his XL Roaming Gnome. 11.5 long, 6ft wide. Most comfortable hammock I've been in as a "big guy".

I've got a WBBB dbl 1.7, a Switchback single 1.9, and a Dangerbird from PapaSmurf in the works. I'm 6'4", 260+. I've only done casual lounging in the SB, but will probably spend the night in it soon. I must say it seems like a FLAT lay. I've spent many comfortable nights in the WBBB, but think I might find better. I'll put up a comprehensive .02 after the Dangerbird arrives.
