From SPUTS to SHANTS

In the Popuptimes.com forum people would confess their SPUTS (stupid pop up tricks) (like driving off with the stabilizers still down etc).

I tried to come up with a hammocking acronym that was pronounceable and didn't look like a non-family word, feel free to suggest something better.

I was reminded of this when reading about the guy who fell out of his hammock while he was sleeping!!

Here's one of mine:

Friggin Again? Removed the Tent Stake and Launched it Using Guyline

Scooted to far up to the head end while the hammock was in a portable stand. Stand tipped over backward and I was stuck up on my shoulders, feet wrapped around the hammock material pointed about 80 degrees up, flat on the back of my neck, stuck. Took about 5 seconds of kicking my feet around before I could rotate out of the hammock, which had the stand then slapping back down hitting me in the neck.

At least everyone watching got a laugh. Turns out the floor I was set up on had been under water 6 months before and although the rest of the clubhouse looked pretty good, the floor was pretty much bowl shaped. It was a tippy night BUT it was air conditioned inside and 90+ and muggy outside.
