Dutchware Whoopie Hooks - 3.4 gram Ti hooks rated to 1000lbs!

I promised Dutch I would wait until Monday to release the video. He wanted to show them this weekend at Mt Rogers first. I'm getting my system ready to start the midnight shift tomorrow, so as I am sitting here working on getting ready for a trip next weekend I realized it was about midnight, so here goes:

wow. i wonder what the human weight would be on those? like, is that 1100lbs static or dynamic? would a 300lb guy destroy those? and what kinda rope fits those?

i assume: loop on the hammock, hook made into the whoopie?

How do I get into the Dutch mafia?

And I thought I was all forward thinking when I ordered the Dutch Doughnuts and just finished adding them to some continuous loops this weekend. If I had only known!!

I'm not sure, Dutch can elaborate on his test.

Yes, loop on the hammock. In this case amsteel. The hook was made into the WS loop.

Dutch used this suspension all weekend at Mt Rogers. I stopped and marveled at it several times. The simplicity, light weight, and strength of this set up is amazing. I love the suspension options that are out there now. Dutch is really fitting the customers choices and needs.

All that being said, I love my Orange Dutch clips, buckle, and biner... but was blessed with a whoopie hook (gotta love that name!) this weekend and have swapped my suspension out to use this. I tried hard to resist the "New Stuff = Gotta Have" thought, but was sold after seeing the whoopie hook in use. My orange hardware is being retired, for now.

Do those hooks have radiused edges? Look like they'd risk cutting the Dyneema/Amsteel otherwise
