Oh don't I and everyone on the job-site know that I GOTS mail today!!
The fellas already thought me deranged; now they insist I won't make it through my planned mid-life crisis.

    Thanks, can't wait!

    Rev:
Sweet set-up!!! Thanks for sharing the pic's. I'm going to hold off on a top-quilt until I figure out how the UQ effects my sleep.

My topquilt arrived yesterday and it is great. the craftsmanship is excellent. I highly recommend UGQ they make a great product. I will be ordering a matching underquilt soon. Paul's customer service is top notch and he really keeps you in the loop.

Just had my first weekend out with my new 20f top quilt and I like it. I like sleeping warm and it was great with 35 F nights. I could easily have handled much colder. The snaps and toggle for the foot box are a great light weight option but I wished the snap at the head end held better (though I doubt it will make much of a difference unless pushing the bag near it's limits).

Overall I happy with Paul's work.

    Some pics.

Finally, here are some photos of my new UGQ underquilt in action.

Paul was awesome to work with and the quality of his workmanship is top notch.

I had originally wanted a green quilt, but Rev posted his idea about a black quilt with green thread - Zombie style! - and I totally pilfered his idea. (Thanks Rev!) The contrasting stitching looks fantastic on the Dangerbird. The lighting in the photos doesn't do it justice.

I would not hesitate to buy another Underground Quilt.

Forgot to mention... Paul's down pillows are the love! So comfy. They will be worth the extra three ounces in your pack!

It's in a very old stand of maples on some state land near my home. It's hard to tell, but the maple on the right that I'm hanging from is three feet in diameter. I needed two tree straps to go around it, and that's not even the biggest tree in the lot! Spring in New York is very lush.

Great pics everyone.... I'm swamped with still organizing the new shop and getting quilts put together but I will get the website update when I have a free hour or two.... Woods are calling too but looks like it will be Memorial day before I get to enjoy them...
    Happy Hangin'

Is it too self-serving if I say, just keep cranking out quilts"?

I recieved my custom TQ from Paul at Underground Quilts today, and did a video for it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wCAQtdtAdA

    Here where my dimensions:

    Custom Top Quilt: 50 degree
    50X72 w/ sewn foot box.

    M50 Blue Outer Shell 0.69 oz/yd (3 yds)
    8d is .67 oz/yd w/ DWR Silver(gray)
    .7/oz NOSEEUM 0.70 oz/yd (1 yd)
    850 FP Down (5-6oz)
    Sewn Footbox

To be honest, I should have got it at 75 inches, its right on the edge of being to small, I am 5'9 and his stock one comes in at 79' inches long. If you are ordering and are 5'9 go with 75-76 inches. Yes its a summer quilt, and not to worried about being cold in it. It covers all the neccesary areas. I am pleased with the stitching.

So Paul great job "WOOT". Thanks again.
