Talking warm fluffy down on its way

ThreeD and I ordered 20 degree zeppelins this week. We went long size with 1 ounce overfill and we opted for the resist treatment as well. We are stoked to get out in the cooler weather this year and still be warm. Paul was fantastic to deal with and answered every question we could throw at him.

Can't wait for them to arrive and the cold weather to come so we can give them a work out.

Could not agree with your comments for Paul, took the time to make sure the Underquilt was just perfect for the Clark flex 180. A great person to deal with

Got mine a couple of weeks ago and wanted to finally throw up a pic. I got the 20* Zeppelin with light blue outer and grey inner. It comes with two stuff sacks: a larger one for storage (but I just store mine laid out) and a smaller one for camping. It only hit 60 degrees the night I went out with it and I had to keep it vented for sure, but in the morning I woke up a little chilly. Hard when the temps go from warm to colder in the night. It is great quality and I would order from Paul again for sure!

    Talking Quilts just came

    Paul,
The quilts just showed up. Actually I noticed they were slated for delivery today and since I knew I wouldn't be home when they came I went to the Post office and picked them up. (Sometimes living in a small town is sooooo nice.) Now the problem is waiting until tonight to play with them.

Must say they look fantastic. I will post more later when I have a chance to set them all up. Maybe even do a short review on a new thread. Will have to see how time goes tonight.

    Thanks for 2 beautiful UQ's

    Some additional pics of WD

Close up of bottom of doors, I use a biner on both doors with single stake and trucker hitch, to get in or out just upclip one side and unsnap. You can see first snap here about 6" up. All guy out points have 200d reinforcement as seen in this picture and edge as fully binded grosgrain detail...

Snap door closure looking down from ridgeline, 6" on center spacing...

    Talking Zeppelin on a Safari

Just a couple quick shots of the new UQ on my netless safari. The quilt is a 20 degree long size with 1 ounce extra down, draft collars, and resist down. It is grey inside with red out and it is beautiful. I have never used a down UQ before and it took me all of 2 minutes to attach it and have it adjusted. Very nicely done Paul!

As a side note once clipped on the suspension the sides were plenty snug on this hammock but it is big! All I really had to adjust is the ends, If it was cold maybe a bit of additional tension on the sides would help but I think the pics agree it is about perfect. As you can see I got it put on and then my daughter jumped in and didn't want to get back out she was so comfy

I will take pictures of it on my Explorer Deluxe this weekend and on my sons expedition when I get back home but as for now I am headed out to use it

    Talking Success

Well I went out this past weekend and tried out the new UQ and it was a success. Really worked out well and I couldn't be happier.

I posted more pics of the quilt on several different HH in a quick beginning to a review under the review forum. take a look if you are interested. I show how a full sized long version of the Zeppelin looks/fits on a HH safari, expedition, and explorer deluxe.

    PS Thanks again Paul
