I just received my 20 degree full length zeppelin today. The quality of Paul's work is OUTSTANDING!! I will be getting a ton of use out of this UQ when I get back home to MI!
My 40 degree Zeppelin is on its way! Thanks Paul. I already have my first trip with this quilt planned. Dancing like Snoopy, Dancing like Snoopy!
Well, I think I've made up my mind. I've been looking at TQ/UQ combos for a while, trying to decide where I want to go.
Pretty sure I've made my choice. 20 deg full length zep, and 20 deg flight jacket.
Now...I keeping kicking a little back here and there til I can afford to make my purchase!
Hoping I get a contribution towards Owl's downy goodness come father's day! =-)
I have my new 40 degree Zeppelin in hand!
The local post office have held it hostage since Wednesday, but it was delivered today. I had the camera out today, so I decided to do a few short videos on the new quilt. This is not a review, since I have not "field used" the quilt yet. The post man delivered the quilt and 1 hour later I was doing a video. Please forgive the quality and my delivery, I am pretty new to doing videos. I hope these videos will give others a nice look at Paul's quilts to see if they will meet their needs. The quilt he made for my is a nice looking quilt and I do believe it will work for me. The videos are relatively short, mostly a minute or less. They start with the unboxing, hanging on my Blackbird and my summary. Thanks Paul, you are right, it is a very nice and pretty quilt.
I can't wait to get that quilt out next weekend. I am still trying to decide to continue using the triangle thingies or maybe one of Dutch's quilt hooks to set the angle of the quilt hang. Maybe I will experiment a bit and report back.
I'm so bummed, just checked the tracking info and it arrived at my office 10 minutes after I left. If I had just stayed a bit longer I could be playing with nice warm downy comfort right now instead of waiting till the morning.
