There are lots of combo-stuff sack RLOs done. Yours is simplicity at it's best.
If you find the sack sags or slides too much, you can tie prussic loops to your ridgeline and clip the stuff sack to the loops..
I have made several. The ones below are stuff sacks with outside pockets.
This one uses a velcro flap.
This one uses mitten hooks, and holds my daughter's hammock in her pack.
Making the mesh pocket was a pain. Edging it was not a lot of fun... No more mesh pockets for me.
I am curious though, why do you find the need for the mitten hooks? I tie my stuff sacks to the ridge line with larks head knots. No need for anything additional, just the closure cord. As long as there is nothing heavy in the stuff sack it comes undone with ease in the morning.

Wouldn't you have to pass the whole stuff sack through the closure cord to remove it then?
I like this idea but I use an external ridgeline so it wouldn't work for me
Good idea, I have two mitten clips left over and this is the next destination for them!
