Myteathor, I don't work for NOAA, but I've volunteered with the NWS for about 20 years now. I do some storm chasing as a hobby, and I've taken some college meteorology classes over the years. Now I'm training as an Air Traffic Controller and getting my pilot license, so some basic forecasting skill is sort of required there as well.

I'll keep my ear to the ground and post a more certain forecast in about 3 days when it moves into the shorter range models. That will give me a lot more detail and confidence on the timing, which is still wiggling back and forth between really early Friday morning, and late Saturday afternoon for when the low will actually move through. Here's hoping for earlier.

If - if he stood! Enough of ifs!
He knew a path that wanted walking
He knew a spring that wanted drinking
A thought that wanted further thinking.
    A love that wanted re-renewing

I remember the wind also. Not too cold and my tarp stayed in place but I dreamt of airport runways

We're thinking of doing a joint meal for the first night, like last year? What could I bring? Venison and salsa is what I see so far. What else would we like?

well feller's, New top quilt,New under quilt, whoopee slings, under cover, top cover,Man,The old Hennessy has a brand new look.Better get outside Sunday and give it all a test run. Got some snow today, light powder and around 6 inches. Not enough for the sled but will make for a nice backdrop for a test day.
