    back in the day I dipped fishing jigs into a liquid like that. I like that powder better!

    How is the durability on the coating? This would be worth doing if it last more than a few seasons... if not, probably would just spray paint every year.

    Saw that.

    The problem with the Amazon "Reds Gear" listings is the color. They all show a photo of yellow, but...one doesn't have a description, one lists all the colors but no ability to choose and one has a photo of a different brand in yellow but the description says blaze orange.

    Not going to order if I don't know what I'm ordering.

    That's a good question ... considering it's intended use ... how well does it hold up to any flexing of the tent stake. Shouldn't be much flex at the hook but there could be some to the point below the curve. So how durable is it to abrasion or flexing? Anyone willing to give it a try?

    Thats actually what I used it for was making custom jigs. Thats what its for. It does a lot better for jigs than the dip. Bad thing is I have about every color and just plane forgot I had it till I cam acrossed it the other day. lol

    Its very abraisvie. I use to beat jig heads against rocks fishing. No flexing, good question. I dault there will be enough flexing on tip of stakes to do anything. But Im heading out for a trip today. I'll test it........thanks.
