Cool way to paint top of Tent/Tarp Stakes

Here is a cool way to add a very durable bright color to the top of you Shepard hooks or tent stakes most people have never seen before. Thought you guys would like to see. Its something I use to use back in my tournament fishing days when I made custom lures.

That's pretty sweet and looks easy enough to do, assuming a butane torch/lighter works as well as the heat gun did.

when i use to do jig heads I used a lighter and it worked just as good.

Good stuff. I just spray paint mine blue and have to repeat every year or two. I have that same heat gun.... a real hot-blaster!
Gonna look for that paint.
