Mostly, don't forget to enjoy a good night's sleep in the woods. If you still hear the occasional WhoooooBuddy, it's just a wild Shug and will probably leave you alone.

Telltale sign a wild Shug has been in your food bag, will be the unicycle track leading away.

If in the middle of the night you feel like you have to pee, go pee. Don't let the cold or weather make you hold it. From my experience you're body will waste energy trying to keep your full bladder warm. The small discomfort in getting out is worth it to get warm and comfy again and back to sleep. Have fun! get pictures for us.

    Hot hands handwarmers.

Open up a few packs and lay them in your hammock with you.

One thing I have found works great is to get the toe warmers with a sticky side and fix them to your undershirt underams in the arm pit. they are shaped perfectly for this, and will definitely keep you warm.

Don't put them next to bare skin though. We had a scout get a small burn from having one against his bare skin.

I agree with this, Bubba- the exertion of getting out and back into the hammock will warm you up a bit, too.
Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.

Yea, but make sure that when you get back in, you grasp both sides of the hammock before you sit. Otherwise, you end up on you head like I did the other night.

    Post some follow up pics!

Too late, I know, but how about this one? Work out your hanging set up in the backyard before heading out into the cold.
