bamboobow, canoebie, cincinnatibuck, kwpapke, llamadude, Shug if any of you cant make it that is fine but I am trying to figure out how many smokers I will need to fill and how much food to buy. And if there is anyone out there that finds out they can make it well that will be fine as well just want to make sure there is enough food for everyone.

I am looking forward to getting to meet all of you and seeing you hammock
    setups.

Again thanks for letting me know if you still can make it as this date get's closer I will start putting direction's on here if those of you who are comeing have not already done so.

Sorry to be responding late, but I've not kept up on this thread like I should have. I'm still a "maybe." My wife is due in August and I'd only be able to make it by her good graces. I want to hang w/ you all so I can put some faces to the personallities!

Hope to talk to you all soon.

I'm still a "maybe" at this point too. I should know within the next two weeks. I'm also involved in a Colorado elk hunt and those days haven't been confirmed yet.

You know, all this kayak talk has gotten me interested...... I might have to get one of those too.

I was thinking the same thing but I need to do some research on them I know I want a long yak like neo's or maybe a bit shorter.

Well unless your bringing hotdogs and somemores we should have plenty of food.

I will start smoking the meat Friday morning and should be done Friday afternoon I will be making baked potato salad and baked beans with some of the bbq pulled off and put in it as well.

I am thinking about breakfast right now and looks like my dutch oven is going to get used twice that weekend once for breakfast and once for desert.

And I will make enough to feed everyone and have some left over I am sure but if only three show up then there will be enough for three and some left over if 6 show up then I there will be enough for six and some left over.

Neo it might just be You and your kids and me and possibly my son if he does not have to work.

    time will tell tho

either way we will have a good time.

I think I like what neo did with removing 1 seat on a two seater for more interior storage.

I was looking at these... http://www.jacksonrec.com/kayaks/daytripper.cfm

Then again I know nothing about yak's and next to nothing about hammocks...

That yak looks pretty cool though. Wonder how it does on faster water...?
