I use a lefty. Bad right shoulder make me sleep a little on my left side...

I have a "lefty" -I am a right side sleeper and this puts my face towards the
netting instead of the wall of fabric that is on the shelf side.
These were special orders and took longer to get...worth the wait if you
are considering it, check with
Brandon.

I emailed Brandon before my order to ask how long it would take for the SouthPaw 1.7 double layer BB, he replied pretty quickly that it would be about a week to ship, this was back in December. One week later on the money I received a shipping notice.
Great service!
This thread kinda confuses me. Left vs right? How is there s difference ? I usually always lay with my feet to the left ....
The standard Blackbird is a head-left, feet right oriented hammock. If you were to stand at the head end and look down on the hammock your head goes to the left of the ridgeline and your feet go to the right. Some manufacturers make hammocks where you can change the angle of your lay but the Blackbird is designed to have a lay in one particular manner. The "Lefty" Blackbird is reversed. Make sense?

Like my reverse. I use a bag in it and the zipper on it is on the right so it made sense to me to also have the zipper on the hammock on the right.
