    Foot box on the left

Has anyone tried to the get the footbox on the left instead of the right. That seems to be a left handed lay. I was thinking about it and i always way with my feet to the left and my head the right.

That's Shug style right there, so you're style is up there with the best.

Have you seen Shug's videos? If not, go do it. They are a hoot. One of them (I might try to find it later and give you a link) shows him in the WBBB lying the way you describe. He likes to use the footbox to store some extra gear, as well as the shelf. If you're not super tall then you could do the same. Me? I can't fit that way.
It's bad luck to be superstitious.

If you are going to get a custom lefty, its best to contact Brandon for shipping estimates. I ordered some gear from him in December and it was a couple of weeks from the date I ordered until the date I got a shipping notice. Might be faster these days.

I bought a left handed model for the wife, so we could face each other when hanging near. Mirrored BBs take longer, and they require a mirrored UQ, as was explained to me by Brandon. So, 3 pieces of custom gear are now hanging in the basement with a McHale pack being the 3rd.

I always thought that the mirror image blackbird was called a righty as it is head to the right. The standard one is head to the left.

    Cheers

Foot box and shelf are on the right on a standard, left on a mirrored, thus the Lefty.
