How much does your pack weigh?

It seems that when we use a hammock, especially during the cold season, we carry UQs, pads, winter tarps, pods, etc. to stay comfortable. When you are backpacking, not car camping, what is your base weight (before food and water) during the winter months?

I don't have a good pack yet....so mine is entirely too heavy and I need snow in the winter in order to use my sled and shove everything into a contractor bag. With that said, I'm obviously not the one you'd like to hear from on base weight

Too much when I'm carrying it, too little when I'm in camp.

If I'm going solo and temps will be above 10 F, I can get by with 21 lbs in my GoLite Pinnacle before food and water..... Then I'll end up piling in a radio, a big knife and other things I won't use to bring that up to 30 lbs.

If I decide to take my MOLLE pack, that will add 7 lbs. My Deuter pack will add 5 lbs. It all just depends on what sort of mood I'm in, how many miles I need to cover and what toys i want to bring along.

Depends on what one calls winter temps....but here is a video for a 21º trip.
    Pack base at 17 lbs.
That goes up in deep sub 0º Minnesota winter.....

At the Mt. Rogers hang my base pack was just under 11 pounds. Total pack weight was just over 21 pounds with consumables. The gear I took to the wise shelter I tested down to 18 degrees and slept very warm, didn't even have to put on all the clothing I took. I have full confidence in getting below 10. Now negative or single digit very windy conditions? I'm still waiting for those temps to test it out.

My Gear Grams list of everything that went with me to the Wise Shelter.
