I plan on using an old sleeping bag as a top quilt. I was going to remove the old insulation and add down to the inside of the sleeping bag. I wonder where i can purchase some down to stuff inside the sleeping bag shell to make a top quilt.

One thing you may want to worry about is if the fabric is downproof. It would suck to fill it only to start loosing it immediately.
