Hanging in Greensboro, NC

After being a long time tent and tarp guy, I started to consider hammocks when I joined Scouts as a Ast Scoutmaster. I thought it best to leave the tent open for my son to share with his friends (I cannot be in the tent if anyone other than my son is in it and I don't want to take the experience of camping with his buddies away from him), so I started hanging. Well, my son liked the hammock life so well, he got his own. Just this month he traded in the Wally World blue tarp for a equinox like his old man. What a great way to share Gods creation with my son! I found this forum while researching MYOG hammock for my next project. With lots of veteran hangers, there is a wealth of information here. Great website!
