My apologies if this is already somewhere on the site but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.....
I have a "customized" GTUL from PapaSmurf and I dig the weight. But I'm 6'1" and get knee pain from hyper-extension, and sometimes "lose" my pillow or quilt footbox due to the slightly narrower width. It's as if I need an extra foot or so in width. I use a "knee pillow" w/ some success but am wondering:
Can a sewn-in footbox be added to give a flatter lay (& maybe a "footbox" for the head end as well)?
Knotty's cool stretch sides don't appear to help the lay or I would try that. I also have a Bridge hammock and prefer its flatness, but not the weight. After all I've read I should be better @ diy, but I'm challenged!
Thank you!
