    pad material for double layer

For those who have done it, what are you using for a pad in your double layers? Also, how are you keeping it in place?

Quest outfitters carries close cell foam 29" wide, 3/8 thick that I could attach and make a wider pad but it seems like with that, I'd have a problem with condensation.

I have used a wallyworld waffle patterned blue foam pad (about 24" wide) in my BB 1.7 double with great success. The double layers keeps the pad movement to a minimum.

I have a double layer bridge hammock and I used a blue closed cell foam pad that with one side having a space blanket material attached. I got it for like 8 bucks and its the best thing ever. It was 34-36 degrees out and I was toasty warm with this under me as my UQ and sleeping bag as my TQ.

I bought a couple of these pads 2 years ago but my wallyword still sells them in their camping section (as of last week). They sell for $14.88 here.

Thanks guys! I'll try the Wally World pad first because it close and easy to get to and go from there.

Instead of reflectix try a card shade. They are made of reflectix, they come already folded and I saw them in the auto department at Walmart for $5.
