I have better odds of making it the 4-6th or the 18-20th...

So I just talked to my wife and she would rather backpack. She just got a new Osprey pack and she wants to try t out. So we are going to stick with Stratton Pond. All are welcome to come and join us.

So, unfortunately, I am out of this hang once again. I found out this afternoon that I have to have minor surgery April 3rd, and there is a 6 week recovery where I am not supposed to lift more than 10 lbs. Sorry guys. I look forward to getting back to the Piney Woods after my recovery! I guess this will give me some more time to work on some DIY projects.

Ok.
I do apologize to all for flip flopping on the dates and all. Tring to get the ball rolling adn keep everyone happy is harder than it looks.
This is not my forte, and the 2 to 3 day delay in posting of info/ availability doesn't lend itself to a cohesive plan.
So i think we should stick with the 4th to the 6th. as the following week is Mothers day.
I called Monadnock, and it looks like the campgrounds are first come first served up till memorial day (i think the 28th). Also the ranger i spoke with was very nice but he said they discourage camping between the designated sites, which is what we as hammockers would have to do.
So maybe we should look at another place.
Please chime in with any ideas so we can get calling.
I am ok to car camp or hike in.

Still looking for suggestions for a location on the 4th to 6th of May.
I dont think Monadnock will work for a group hang. See previous post for reason.
