    1.9 oz ripstop

Has anyone made a gathered end hammock with 1.9 oz ripstop? Just curious...

Joannes and Hancock Fabric stock ripstop is 1.9 so I think a lot of people (including me) have DIY hammocks from1.9 oz.

Yep,one of my favorite hammocks is a single layer of 1.9oz. I have been sleeping in it for about three weeks now indoors and loving it.

I've used it for sl and dl. Double layer for my large bro-in-law and his large family. I promised him any two of them would be good in it and I was right.

I'd say it held over #500. And they were swinging...

I found the Hancock's 1.9 was a lot nicer after being run through the washer, no soap.

Just whipped one up (no pun intended) last weekend.

I used the stuff from DIY Gear Supply and it is quite nice.
