Brdaaw, I think I prefer the WBBB for the added benefit of the shelf and double bottom. To me they add to the comfort level since I worry less about mosquitos bitting thru the bottom during the warm months, and the shelf just makes it more comfortable by being able to get to my gear. As for the lay, I am comfortable in them both.

I also have the HHDJ and like that over the HHEUL due to the double bottom. The WBBB is a fav though.

I find that all my hammocks are extremely comfortable. It's all the extras you need when hanging that make or break a particular hang. It's things like waking up with a flashlight growing out of your spine, or a sleeping bag I have with a waist bungee that seems to disrupt the smoothness that makes a hang uncomfortable for me.

The WBBB is very popular for a reason. Having said that, there are people that cannot find the sweet spot in them. Tree to Trail Gear Switchbacks are comfortable and well made. Gathered end hammocks all have the potential to cause calf pressure. Wilderness Logics make their hammocks a foot longer which seems to help and even eliminate it. If you cannot get comfortable in a gathered end hammock because of the calf pressure then a JRB bridge hammock may be something to look at. (Yeah I know I'm not really helping)

I'm 6'-6" tall, and right now about 235 pounds. I have layed in a bunch of them, and can say with absolute confidence that the WBBB is a hammock you will love. I can never say enough good things about them. The footbox, the shelf...etc etc. Just a great hammock

You are tall. Get a longer hammock. Check out Wilderness Logics.

@yukon - I live in Nyack. I love my Copper Spur UL2. It's the best all around tent I've been exposed to. I'm sure it's frowned upon around here, but I don't see myself giving it up for two person cold weather camping. I think it's less weight than hanging two people, not to mention all the $$$ I'd have to drop on UQ et al. :P

Check out the bear mountain bride By Jacks are Better. I find bridge hammocks to be ideal for the person who's first concern is comfort.

PapaSmurf's Dangerbird has me drooling. I still want one of those. I recommend you look into that if you are looking for a nice hammock.
